Format

Underwater Samurai Studios Publishes for digital first, print second.  Therefore, we require our books to be delivered in a format that best fits that strategy.

Final artwork will be delivered as .tiff files 1800×1200 pixels in dimension at 300 dpi resolution.  The art must be completely recognizable on mobile phone screens, which will be .jpg files 480×320 pixels in dimension, 80 dpi resolution, and 65% compression.

Lettering will come as a separate file.  The final letters will be delivered as .png files 1800×1200 pixels in dimension at 300 dpi resolution.  The letters must be completely legible on mobile phone screens, meaning at 480×320 pixels, 100 dpi resolution, 70% compression.  This is not regular comic book size lettering!  We urge you to experiment with the lettering at these resolutions and ensure your it is sized appropriately to meet these requirements.
